I love the picture of the unfortunate bird and happy croc. Just looked back on the blog and reread a part I had missed at the start – your river crossing with the plywood trick. So no tailpipe snorkel? I remember cracking my engine block in a huge sudden downpour in a desert so I guess you also have to wait for the engine to cool before rushing on into river crossings. Keep on trucking travelers.
