It is a great initiative & novel way by both of you to not only discover this beautiful country which I am lucky to be born in Called India.
I can say with conviction that by the time you have covered India a part of both of you would have turned Indian in its thought & style.
Finally getting on line and catching up with your fabulous blog where I last left off!! So wonderful to hear all about your amazing adventures and see the great photos, such a treat. So glad that you are settling into the ride and are both well.
We have had some wild and windy weather lately, spring is slow to sprung! But I have been to the garden to do a bit of work, so that feels good. The blossoms and leaves are slowly sprouting, a sure sign that summer is on its way. Life marches on here in lovely Victoria, sending you both big hugs and much love, bye for now,
Hi there lovelies! Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful log of your adventures….we miss you both very much and are thrilled that you are living your dreams-you deserve it!
Spring is here in PT and all is well. As you know, with teenagers, that feeling ebbs and flows but at the moment all is well. We took Cameron out of the public school where is was imploding, and put him in the small private school downtown. We are seeing amazing changes in him! He is more interactive, likes school, is more social, more helpful, less argumentative, less despondent, etc. Thankfully my parents were happy to pay half the tuition so it made it possible for us to stretch for the rest.
Rosie is fabulous as usual. Currently she and all of her friends are in the school musical of ‘Oliver’ and they are wonderful! She is totally possessed by the theatre and walks around the house singing most days!
Tibby the cat is playful and loving and purrs a lot!
Tim and I are good as well. He turned 54 in April and tomorrow I turn 43-eeek! But so far the weather is reasonable and my garden is growing (my refuge of sanity).
Business is good for the most part. We had a great month in April and are hoping to keep the trend going up every month from now on!
One technical question Matt! I noticed that you’re using the theme Misty look for the blog and I really like its simplicity. As a total blog/programming novice, how did you change the header photo for a different one?
Anyway, again we love and miss you guys and are glad to know that you’re safe and happy.
Take care and keep blogging

Mary, I came here to thank you for the beautiful letter you wrote me and I must say that I am both equally inspired and made jealous by the scenes of your travels. I must agree that being in touch with oneself spiritually is a gift and has been the greatest ones I have recieved thus far in my journey of recovery. I always admired your spiritual connection and admit that life is much better with it. Anyway, I wish you the best and hope you enjoy the rest of your adventure and hope to hear from you soon.
p.s. the artwork on the front of the letter was beautiful where did you get it? what is it?
Hong Kong, ahh, looks fabulous, loved the photos of the town!! And the Bling!! Can I expect such a ruby emerald necklace in my stocking this year for Christmas???? OMG, I can’t cope!! Love your self portrait, in HK, how did you manage that one!!??
Can’t wait to hear all about the trek, happy trails my loves ,
Wow, you both look fabulously happy and content. You both have big balls too for taking on such an ambitious trek while us mortals live our comfortable lives within narrow boundaries. Nan and I did however just get back from a trip to Ireland which was a hoot and plan to do more of the same. Take care and have a super happy time seeing it all!
Hi Mary Matt,
I saw all the photographs on farfar-away. I met both of you on Assi Ghat, Varanasi on 10 November 2010. You told me to send the photographs. Kindly send me the photographs clicked on Assi Ghat on my email id manish85sw@gmail.com.
I will be thankful to you.
Its David from Nepal. We met both of you while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. It really was nice talking both of you. You both both were very charming to us. I saw all of your photographs & you know they are outstanding. But i would also love to see your snaps of the ABC visit.
Are you well? Still enjoy travelling, eh? Hope you’re well.
Listen, just realized that you didn’t get any of my newsletters for whatever reason I can’t store your blog as an email-address in the group of recipients. No idea why. Normally, I would send it out as an attached pdf-file. Can’t do it here. Have you got any other email-address per chance?
Have fun and it would be great hearing from you again.
Take care & enjoy!

We met on the Tower Tour of Salisbury Cathedral and I finally got around to checking out your blog.
I hope you’re enjoying your time in England and look forward to seeing some of your photos from the tour we did in Salisbury Cathedral.
Happy travels,
